One of my favorite things about New York, is all of the amazing neighborhoods. Living in Tribeca feels like this quiet pocket where every street has something new and fun to discover. Some of the best boutiques and restaurants are right here, and just across the way from me is one of the best coffee shops in town, Laughing Man. It is a local spot, and every Saturday I find myself spending time there working and people watching.
For spring one of my favorite trends are boho inspired maxi tops. This piece from Lulus is perfect for layering when the nights tend to get a little bit chilly. I love the embroidery on the back, as it just adds a cool factor to it.
Also, festival season is coming up quick, and mixing prints and edgy rocker tees is one of my favorite looks. Right now, you are seeing all kinds of fun t-shirts with cut outs, graphics, and their own distressed feel. This one from Topshop is not only fun but under $25.00. I paired it with a leopard print skirt from Joie to add a little flair.
I love to wear ankle boots all year long, especially in the spring with skirts and dresses. Again, when it comes to on trend shoes, you are going to see a lot of embroidery, and graphics this year. A big trend is stars, and this pair from Lulus are perfect for my style. They are still simple, yet will make a statement with almost any look.
This whole look has its own mix master feel to it, and when done right, you can put almost any prints together, especially when you are going for a rock star look. Adding this eclectic style bag from Steve Madden just felt right to bring the whole look together. Not only that, you can wear it cross body which is great for walking around concerts and the city!
Well the weather is about to start changing, and it is time to stow away those boots, and put some spring into your step! Whether you are like me and tend to live in your sneakers, or have a soft and feminine vibe, I have you covered. This season there is no shortage of fun and functional shoes that are spot on for Spring/Summer 2017. I usually am walking everywhere around the city, so flats are my go to. At night, a chunky heel or cute bootie is still my favorite. Check out all of my must haves below!
Make it a wrap! Whether you are wearing flats or heels, highlighting the ankle with all things lace up is key. One reason I love this look, is that it adds a simple bit of sex appeal to any look.
Flatforms are back again! Think a flat platform, and let me tell you I love them because they add height but are super comfortable. From sneakers, like the fun pom pom Steve Maddens above, to open toe sandals you must own at least one pair.
Backless Loafers and Slides you say? Nothing will get you out the door quicker then these trendy sandals. I love the loafer look, especially with a pair of worn in denim and a cool leather jacket. If you are feeling fun and playful, try a cool slide that has a bit of attitude to it.
Think Gum Sole Sneakers! Thick sole sneakers are happening all over the place. From Nike lifestyle kicks to Steve Madden think of it as a sole series. These fun sneakers are meant to be more for fun and play, but make sure you nab a pair, as they’re definitely one of the big trends for the season.
It is that time of year when I have so many parties it is hard to keep track. For me, I am usually running from one party to the next, so I like to find a holiday look that works for both the day and night. This week alone, I have a work party in the day, a fun holiday cookie event in the evening, and the annual holiday walk and fireworks show in Manhattan Beach.
These pants from Lulu’s are perfect for the holidays. Not only do they scream fun with their wide legs and fun slits, the color is spot on for any celebration. Not only will they go great with a chunky sweater, but I will wear them with a black pump and a fun bodysuit for a fancier event.
Can we say that velvet is the trend of the season? I took one look at these Steve Madden boots and new that I had to have them. I have always been a fan of over the knee boots in the winter. The texture of these makes the whole look feel even more festive.
I tend to live in chunky sweaters during the winter. Every year Express has some of my favorites. I love the color of this one, and as the weather transitions it will look gorgeous with a pair of white jeans. Mixing up the light rose with the darker burgundy makes the look pop even more.
It is that time of year where we get to sparkle and shine for the holidays. Each season, I look forward to dressing up, and I am not one to shy away from being festive. This year there is no denying that brocade, velvet, and sequins are top trends. If you are unsure of going head to toe in one of these looks, then bring on the party and sparkle with my picks of the seasons best accessories.

The Trophy Bag
From studded leather box bags to playful beaded clutches, I have the bags you’ll never want to put down.
This season it is all about having fun with pants. Embroidery is a big trend, and we are seeing it on denim and pants. I have just discovered this playful line Self-Portrait. All of the pieces are known for their intricate details, which makes each design feel custom and special.
These embroidered pants I found are perfect for my style. They can go both dressy and casual depending on how you wear them. As the weather cools down, I cannot wait to pair them with a chunky sweater and my moto boots.
Another trend that has made a serious comeback is the turtleneck. Whether you purchase a basic one, like this Mcguire Denim top, or go for something with a fun print, you can add it to your wardrobe rotation very easily. I will be wearing this all season under my jackets.
Burgundy is still a huge trend in color that is everywhere. Last season I purchased this incredible cross body Chloe Handbag. They have updated this seasons version in suede, but make sure you find something to purchase in this gorgeous color.
Never under estimate the power of a great black pump. This is a classic that will never go out of style, and Steve Madden makes three versions in suede, leather, and patent. If you ever question a heel, simple and clean will always be a winner.
