Spring has Sprung!

Well April is here, and we’re fully into Spring! I cannot believe that has happened. SO much has been going on, and I haven’t written a blog in quite awhile, mostly because I have been focusing on my Youtube channel! But drumroll please, it is time to update the blog and what better way then showing off some of my favorite spring looks!

Pam and Gela sporty two piece for spring

We all know that I love to shop at Hiptique. And this two-piece sporty set from Pam and Gela is so completely cool I cannot even. One of my favorite things about this, is that you can pair it with booties, and it makes it look even more cool. These are from DSW, and they are perfect for any budget. One major thing about spring is whether you go flirty, sporty, or feminine, get wild and go for matching sets.

Denim spring romper from Blank NYC

I have also been wearing a ton off of the Lulu’s website, because their pieces are not expensive and totally on trend. I mean who doesn’t love a romper, and especially one that is all denim. Again it can be dressed up for a night out, or paired with an easy belt for a cool and casual look. This one is from Blank NYC, and won’t be the only romper I am sporting this season.

Spring florals from Veronica Beard

Last, it is totally wedding season, am I right? I have always been a huge fan of Veronica Beard, and this floral dress is so pretty, and perfect for a less formal wedding. If you have a fancy one, I have linked many more over at Like to Know it! For me, I don’t wear short as often anymore, so when I found this piece I was so excited to sport it. I added my starry and on trend Gorjana necklace and Chanel handbag.

Summer Summer Time!

Wow, Memorial Day is just a week away, and I can hardly believe it. It seems like just yesterday we were celebrating the holidays. Like everyone else, I am so looking forward to summer days, full of sun, fun, and of course cute outfits. As always, my favorite boutique Hiptique has gotten several pieces in that are adorable, and I am quite frankly obsessed with! Make sure you head to my Fame Store to shop all of these looks plus so many more coming your way this summer. What else do you guys want to see trend wise?

Summer floral pants

Can we talk about printed pants mixed with a fun logo tee. This is one of my staple looks in the summer. I love to take pieces that you would not expect to go together and make them work. These floral pants from Parker are so on trend with their wide legs and fun tie waist, and the pajama style pant like this striped pair from Fame, are still big this season. A simple fun tee, elevates the look. I am loving this line Paradised, it is for sure a new favorite. Don’t forget to add some oversized mirrored shades like these from Quay Australia.

Pajama style pants

When it comes to my summer kicks, I love Vans. This pair is literally on fire. If you want to try something different, go for a pastel sneaker like these from Filling Pieces. I still love a good chunky rubber sole right now.

Pastel Vans

Vans

We all know I love a good dress in the summer. I have literally fallen in love with Karina Grimaldi. This line has so many beautiful dresses that are just my style. I love a fun dress with a bit of sex appeal like this cut out piece above. An on trend hat from Van Palma makes the look so much more Venice beach babe. For a night out, and certainly vacation, this high low dress is simply gorgeous. A flat sandal for a casual beach dinner or a wedge for a night out is the perfect addition. I love adding a fun pendant necklace for an added edge.

Simply go to https://suzigstyles.fame.co/ , and you can shop all my favorite looks and products!

Wide leg denims

As you all may know, I love any and all denim. This spring my new favorites are these wide leg pair from Frame available at Nordstrom. This cute top makes the whole look monochromatic, and I can totally add a bunch of cool gold jewelry and a fun hat.

Denim booties

Denim booties, check and check. If you have a one must have shoe (not a sneaker) go with something unique and fun. These are from Dolce Vita, and are super comfortable!

Local look

I have been wearing my Off-White bag from Barney’s all the time, and it goes with everything and adds a cool girl factor to all of my looks. These pants are also from Frame, and they feel and look like pajama pants. A simple contrasting tee and some cool shades make me feel so California.

Shades from Quay

Quay makes some of the coolest shades for under $100, and I have added yet another cool pair to my collection from Nordstrom.

Vans kicks

Yes, lets round out this locals only post with the coolest pair of Vans yet. Who doesn’t need a bit of fire in their life? Remember it is so easy, you can shop every one of these pieces right in my Fame Boutique!!!

California Filming!

Last Sunday, I decided to take the day to do some fun filming around my hood. What makes this post so fun for me, is that not only did we go into six hours of random shooting, I got to do it with two of my favorite people. One of the things about shooting content, it is so important to do it with people that make you feel great, test you, give you feedback, and can drink a bottle of wine with you! True life of a blogger.

Basketball Venice California

Some of my favorite things are basketball courts, beachs, and palm trees! Yep, I know this is silly, but these things feel like home. The courts in Venice make me smile when I walk by, so doing a shot there is only fitting. On top of that add some kicks and a long flowy dress, and I am the happiest girl in the world.

California shopping

One of my favorite shopping destinations, is Abbot Kinney, and this street is full of fun boutiques and amazing restaurants. What I love, is that local artists are constantly doing fun art on walls that make for fun background shots. This adidas jacket is reversible, and fit right in. Who does not love a huge pop of color for spring!

California booties

Who does not love the Santa Monica Pier. We did a pit stop for lunch at Shutters of course, and then decided that riding the roller coaster behind was a great idea. If you are looking for something different this spring, try a denim bootie, these from Dolce Vita are a huge hit and are absolutely amazing and fun! Also, nothing like a good braid and a fun “peachy” tee for the win!

Hotel Erwin

The last stop of the day was the Hotel Erwin. They have an amazing rooftop perfect for wine and the sunset. On our way, we found the cutest alley. So naturally stopped for a shot. That is what I love about my neighborhood, there is something around every corner!

Hat Season, Festival Season, Spring Season!

I do not know what happens to me during this time of the year, but my love for fashion comes out, and I become way experimental. The weather certainly helps, as we all have a little more pep in our step once winter is over. I have always been a big sneaker girl, of course, and hats come in a close second. Whether it is a ball cap, beach hat, or a trending driver hat, I have no shortage in my closet.

Fedora hat from Hiptique

Festival season is here, and Coachella, summer concerts, and Stagecoach are around the corner. I love a good concert and go to plenty in the summer. My favorite is the pier concert right here in Santa Monica. Enjoying music and kicking it with friends, and a hat like this fun one from Hiptique is a must.

high-waist crop pants

When it comes to casual but cool dressing, a light cotton twill pant like these from Rebecca Taylor are perfect. They are high waisted and go with everything from a dressy blouse, to a tee. I also love pairing them with a simple flip flop on the go.

Ruffle blouse

It is all about the details this season. I love a pretty blouse, again this is from Rebecca Taylor. What makes it so unique is the small bit of ruffle detail. This is perfect for an evening out or a nice work meeting.

Sam Edelman lace-up

Last season I invested in a lace-up Sam Edelman that had a small chunky heel, and it is safe to say they are still trending. Find a pair like these, they are so comfortable and add a bit of funk to any look!
