A Saturday Stroll in Soho!

One of my favorite things about being in NYC is that you can walk everywhere. Each week, I love to seek out new neighborhoods and cute boutiques that I have been hearing about. Somehow this January, we have been pretty lucky that the weather has been mild, so a few weekends ago I took a trip to Soho to shop around. I came across this Rag and Bone  dress at their store in Soho, and  paired it  with my Nike Air Jordan’s. It makes it more hip and fun. My leather jacket has been on rotation when the weather allows, and this was the perfect day for a lighter coat.

CHECK OUT SOME OF MY FAVORITES FOR LESS BELOW!

Of course no trip is complete without a trip to Nike Soho, as well as the Nike Lab. I always tend to buy something in each store, and this trip it was the new Paul George shoe that launched. Check out the article behind his first signature shoe here. A big trend this Spring in sneakers is iridescents. You are going to see a lot of this in different ways across the board, so keep your eye out.

My second trip of the day was to check out Japanese eyewear Gentle Monster. I had heard about this store from several people, and decided that it was time for a new pair of shades. They have a beautiful flagship store in Soho, and although they are a bit more on the expensive side, these babies rock. I like to invest in one cool pair a year, and this is definitely a designer to watch. A few of my Spring favorites are below.

Happy Feet in NYC!

One of my first places to visit coming to NYC was the Nike Lab in Soho. This store, which is also found on-line is an amazing concept space for  innovation. When you walk in you stumble across collaborations that can’t be found in the Nike store, and pieces that are made just for new design. My eyes directly went to this Nike Air Force 1 low NYC edition.

This shoe was designed in collaboration with Kith, a multifunctional lifestyle brand for men and women. Their brick and mortar store in Soho features shoes on display from owners that you can no longer get.

Retro Nike Air Force 1

This limited-edition retro Air Force 1 hasn’t seen the light of day for over a decade. The model is billed as a “1-to-1 recreation” of its original incarnation, complete with a high-end tumbled leather upper and signature embroidered Nike Air branding. You can now shop it directly here.

My feet are happy

Not to mention how fun are my socks? MY feet are certainly feeling the Happy Socks vibes. They have so many fun and cute designs to choose from, but these red and black pair were perfect for my new favorite kicks!
