Well the NBA-All Star game has ended, March Madness in college has begun, and the NBA playoffs are just around the corner! My favorite time of year? Possibly.
Talking fashion with Deandre Jordan
Gary Payton at the Mitchell and Ness event
I have so much going on with work, and I cannot wait to share it all with you. NBA-All Star was a blast. I had so much fun at the Mitchell and Ness event chatting with Gary Payton. He has always been one of my favorites, since the Seattle Sonic days, and getting to catch up with him was amazing. Not only that, we were able to create all kinds of fun videos that are now up on my new YouTube channel. Form an exclusive interview with Kristen Ledlow, to talking throwback fashion with the Homage team, it was certainly a fun couple of days. If you are looking for some fun pieces, check out my favorites from both Homage and Mitchell and Ness.
Now that the NCAA tourney has started, my bracket is actually off to a great start. To make it more fun, I have teamed up with Shear Geer Handbags for a fun Giveaway!. Now that basketball has started to utilize the clear bag policy, we all need a good one in our lives. How cute are the pomp oms that you can attach in your team colors?
Okay, lets get to the good stuff! NBA fashion. Coming this week, I had the chance to chat with Clippers player Deandre Jordan about his style. I have several more coming your way, so make sure to keep up with the YouTube. So many fun stories to cover, and lets just say these guys are the pioneers of men’s fashion.
Wow, I cannot believe that the weekend came and went so fast! This year the NBA All-Star game took place here in the City of Angels, and it was incredible. I wish I could have been in numerous places at once, because literally there were events every way you turned. I started out the week with 47 Brand and Shoe Palace, one of my favorite stores on Melrose. Thursday, was jam packed from seeing the new line from Michell and Ness and Homage on Fairfax, to ending the night at Adidas.
Friday, before the rising stars challenge, I had the chance to speak at the NBA Lab x Crossover event, as well as kick It at the fun 747 adidas event. It felt like a music meets kicks festival, where new drops were happening as well as the amazing create and cultivate event. The night ended at a Jordan event where I got to see some custom kicks made! Saturday finally slowed down a bit, but before All-Star Saturday kickoff, I had the chance to interview the talented Kristen Ledlow. I cannot wait for you guys to see the fun footage. All-Star Saturday was full of fun fashion, and of course some amazing dunks. Sunday couldn’t have been more fun kicking off the game day with Mitchell and Ness and their brunch. By the time the game rolled around, my weekend could not have been more complete. Of course it was all about the fashion, and some of my favorite looks are below!
L to R Ben Simmons, Tristan Thompson, Rich Paul, John Wall, Lebron James
