This past week was filled with lots of jam packed action for the NBA in New York City. The 2017 draft happened, as well as the first annual NBA awards show that aired live on TNT. If you are like me, a die hard NBA fan, both of these were certainly fun to watch. The players in the NBA are leading the way in fashion these days, and there was no shortage of fun fashion to see at both events.
At the first-ever NBA Awards this year, there were a lot of bold looks on the red carpet, which was to be expected. There was extra pressure to look good this year after the NBA added the Best Style award to the list of achievements. From the style MVP himself Russell Westbrook, who also took home the league MVP, to the host Drake, there was plenty of amazing fashion to see. If you didn’t get a chance to see the show, they did an amazing job on TNT, so make sure to get the highlights. A congrats to two of the Milwaukee Bucks players for getting their first awards!
Check out my favorite fashion moments below.
If you think that the rookie class is behind, think again! These players showed up ready to roll out their own red carpet. For the draft it was all about the shoes and bow ties!
Check out some of my favorites from the new rookie class.
I cannot believe that another year has gone by, and the NBA playoffs are here again. This year there are going to be some great matchups on both the East and the West. If you have been paying attention, Boston took the #1 spot over Cleveland, which should shake things up a bit. Over in the West, of course Golden State is going to make a statement after losing the title last year, and I am hoping to see Westbrook take the MVP for the year.
Of course, I will be in Milwaukee for the first round cheering on my Bucks. They have landed in the 6th spot and are matched up against the Raptors. This year they have had some amazing moments, and have definitely done more then what most people expected. One to watch is the Greek Freak, as Giannis is one of the most talented players in the league. Thanks to the NBA team store this hat is perfect for cheering on my team.
I love to be cute and comfortable at the games, and this Nike windbreaker is perfect, paired with my favorite Frame denim. I am still loving the ankle length frayed jeans for spring!
Once again, thanks to Nike, this Air Max is perfect for the games as well. It is so much easier running around the arena and cheering on my team in sneaks. The color is perfect to represent the Bucks, and they are also super on trend and fun!
Also, I mean how great are these bracelets for good luck. If you are like me and love to wear your team colors in a fashionable and pretty way as well, make sure to check out Fan Girl by Megan. This is the perfect way to represent your team in a girly and fun way!
