One of my favorite things about this season is that I can break out my jumpsuits. This easy piece works in so many different ways from day to night. What I love about Spring 2017, is that the pajama trend is still happening, and so there are lots fresh takes happening to change up this look.
This floral jumpsuit from Topshop definitely fits the trend of lingerie inspired pieces. I love that it is silk, but you can still make if feel casual yet pretty with the lace details. Duster coats are another big trend, and this one caught my eye for the color. It is a soft lavender, that can be mixed with almost any look. I will even pair this with some of my sporty looks when I am running around town.
Gold statement jewelry and crossbody bags are a favorite of mine. I usually am always carrying a bag like this because I tend to walk or take the subway. This simple black handbag from Topshop is only $50 and holds everything that you need for the day. Try some bolder jewelry as well. I love missing in fun bracelets when I can, and this set from H&M is a score for under $20.
Don’t forget the sneakers. Adidas has definitely made a fun comeback this year, and I love all their pastel color Gazelles. This mint green pair add a fun mix to this jumpsuit, but you can certainly wear it in the evening with a great chunky heel.
I can’t believe that we are already in Week 12 of NFL football. This season has been so exciting, and I love being able to be a part of the NFL Fan Style blogger league. It has been so fun connecting people with fandom through fashion, food, and homegating!
Growing up, one of my favorite lines of clothing has always been Levi’s. Their apparel feels true to the American spirit, and they are constantly expanding the line with new collaborations. One of my favorite pieces is their Super Bowl 50 denim jacket, a part of their limited edition collection last season.
I just received this Steelers piece, and it is so cool. I practically live in a denim jacket, as it is a staple for my California lifestyle. To be honest, I feel pretty rock star wearing this around on gameday. It can simply be paired with a t-shirt underneath or layered up with their trucker flannel.
Levi’s has rolled out this button up in your favorite teams, and it is also totally on trend and comfortable. I cannot resist a flannel in the winter, and I have worn this one under my jacket, tied around my waist, and on its own with some cool denim. The bold check design makes it stand out, and I love the simple team logo on the bottom.
Thanks to Levi’s I am living in style with both of these pieces, and I am excited to see what they have in store this year for Super Bowl! In the meantime, this denim jacket will be worn with Steelers pride as the season continues on.
This season it is all about having fun with pants. Embroidery is a big trend, and we are seeing it on denim and pants. I have just discovered this playful line Self-Portrait. All of the pieces are known for their intricate details, which makes each design feel custom and special.
These embroidered pants I found are perfect for my style. They can go both dressy and casual depending on how you wear them. As the weather cools down, I cannot wait to pair them with a chunky sweater and my moto boots.
Another trend that has made a serious comeback is the turtleneck. Whether you purchase a basic one, like this Mcguire Denim top, or go for something with a fun print, you can add it to your wardrobe rotation very easily. I will be wearing this all season under my jackets.
Burgundy is still a huge trend in color that is everywhere. Last season I purchased this incredible cross body Chloe Handbag. They have updated this seasons version in suede, but make sure you find something to purchase in this gorgeous color.
Never under estimate the power of a great black pump. This is a classic that will never go out of style, and Steve Madden makes three versions in suede, leather, and patent. If you ever question a heel, simple and clean will always be a winner.
I have several weddings and cocktail events coming up in the next month. This time of year, I love to find dresses that are a bit different then what I typically wear. As we get closer to the holidays I tend to be more festive.
This dress is from The Stylist LA, a designer dress borrowing service. Founded in 2009, its aim is to bring stylish clothing to women who wish to dress a certain way, but do not want to buy a new outfit for every occasion. For some of my more formal weddings and events coming up, this is my go to for a great fall wedding look.

I have often tried on pieces from Nightcap Clothing, but this was my first adventure in one of their beautiful detailed dresses. The lace is done just right, and I love the color of the navy. It is sexy yet feminine. The wedding was outdoors, so I made it more funky by pairing a Seychelles boot with it.

I love the bright addition of my favorite Alice and Olivia clutch. It is the perfect size handbag for events, and it makes the look pop a bit more. Florals are so on trend for fall, and it adds a playfulness to the look.
One of my favorite shops and on-line boutiques to find spot on pieces is Nasty Gal. Their free standing store in Santa Monica is beautiful, and each season they curate a small handful of up and coming lines, as well as do their own in-house design. Much of what they focus on are pieces that you can’t find anywhere else.
I spent a few hours last week finding some great new pieces for Fall. The fun thing with California is we can wear sleeveless pieces a little but longer. This Nightwalker dress is spot on for a night out. The ruffle details are fun and flirty, and the cut out makes it my style with a little bit of edge. I love florals for fall, especially against the black fabric.
Another staple in my wardrobe year around is a maxi skirt. In the summer a simple tank does the trick, but as the weather gets a little cooler an off the shoulder piece, like this one from Glamorous, adds a little sexiness. The colors of this skirt from Nightwalker scream autumn weather to me. I have an amazing leather coat from Nasty Gal that will mix in with this just perfectly when it cools off even more.
For a night out, their high-waisted denim has constantly been in my rotation these days. If you are looking for one great piece to pair with this type of jean, a bodysuit like this one from Lavish Alice makes it easy. I decided to make it a little sexier with the cool cut out design, but a simple one with a great belt is just as cute too.
