I can’t believe that the MLB baseball playoffs are right around the corner. It is officially fall, and where did the time go? The Los Angeles Dodgers are in first place in the National League, and this city is excited! When I say they are good, guys they are great. I don’t follow baseball as closely as I do the NBA and NFL, but I usually get really excited when playoffs roll around. Being in Cali for as long as I have, I would say that my team on the west coast is obviously the Dodgers, so I will for sure be getting to a playoff game for a hot dog and beer!
One of the things I love about a good old baseball hat like this one from 47 Brand is that it looks worn in and has a vintage feel to it. When I am running errands around town after a workout, it is so easy to throw on a cap repping your team. I have become obsessed with anything that is oversized this season, and if you are looking for a trendy piece, make sure to find a cool sweatshirt like this one from Rag and Bone I literally throw it on with my yoga leggings and I am stylish for the day. Not to mention, these days I like to carry a small bag that fits my phone and a credit card. How cute is this one from Nordstrom? It is under $50.00 and totally adds some more style to the look.
If you haven’t jumped on the legging bandwagon, then it is time to do so. Zella from Nordstrom fits me really well, and they are not too expensive and are on trend. These are such a great color, and the moto style makes it easy to wear them all day without feeling boring.
I did encounter a little bit of a shoe problem when it came to this look. I just picked up these adidas kicks, and they really go the distance when it comes to running on the treadmill and doing errands around town. They look just as great with a pair of simple denim jeans and a t-shirt.
I also kind of want to kick up my leggings in these fun Nike kicks. The Nike logo is the cutest baby pink which makes them also so fun. There is a bit of an added girly touch to them, which obviously makes the high top unique!
It is that time of year again, and the NFL is in full swing. If you are as passionate about sports and fashion as I am, you know that wearing your favorite team logo is a no brainer. Launched in 2012, NFL fan style is quickly becoming a social forum with unique opportunities for fans to share their love of the game through fashion, food and accessories. It is the season of the fan where NFL fashion is the name of the game, and it couldn’t be more fun!
I couldn’t have been more excited then to receive an invitation to NYFW Fall football and fashion event with the NFL. It was a great opportunity as a blogger to check out all the new fun fashion and gear that the NFL has rolled out for your favorite team.
The models were set up in vignettes so that you could actually feel the football Gameday vibes. It felt authentic and real as they showcased all the different ways you can wear pieces while tailgating, homegating, running errands, and going out at night! I love how this cute model had a leopard print coat and heels, I mean what a fun way to play dress up.
When it comes to homegating and showing your fandom through home good and food, there were all kinds of fun things to check out. First of all, these models were eating all kinds of neat treats that will make any NFL party a hit. Who doesn’t love warm spiced apple cider? When it comes to your home, from a grill, to a fun toaster, you can pretty much get tons of stuff to show off your team gear. These Steeler wine glasses are on my list!
If you are feeling like some fun outdoor activity, I mean grab a corn hole set. Everyone at the event got involved and it was so much fun. Nothing wraps up an event like this without some fun behind the scenes shots. There were tons of photographers and fun people walking around. I think everyone was just as excited as me about all of the cool fashion that is coming our way this season!

Well, this week is going to be long, fun, and exhausting all at once. I am off to New York city for two fun events with the NFL. I cannot wait to show you what I am up to this season, as we only have one more week until this party starts!!!! Can you tell that I am excited? Also, I will be going straight from New York City to Portland Oregon for some basketball and influencer meetings with both adidas and Nike. So stay tuned for some cool stuff this fall.
When I travel, and spend more time on the plane, I love to be comfy. These adidas Ultraboost X sneakers are some of my favorites. They are super comfortable, and I can work out in them. I also have two redeye flights, so being able to feel cute and cozy is a must. I live in my adidas pants in the winter. I usually throw on a hat and comfy sweater that are also on trend. Sundry is one of my favorite lines, and this Here for Halftime sweater is a must. By the way Goorin Brothers makes the cutest hats, so check them out as well.
Below are some of my favorite products for feeling refreshed when you know you will not be getting all of that beauty sleep you need!
I love a great hydrating tinted moisturizer that I can wear on the plane and during the day that is lightweight.
I swear by Rosebud Salve, when you travel. This is good for your cheeks, hands, and of course lips. I use it all over!
My eyes get puffy when I don’t stay hydrated so I always travel on the plane with my Peter Thomas Roth gel mask. It is perfection!
Kiehls is one of my favorite products, I stock up on their lotions. If you know me, my skin is super sensitive, and this herbal acne kit is amazing. I use it more when I travel and take travel sizes on the plane with me.
Okay okay, you have me here, I did not attend a college with a football team. Can you believe it? Yes, I missed out on tailgates, painting my face, and running wild as a college kid does during games, but I have learned to love college game day just as much as the rest.
When people ask me if I have grown to love a team, I would have to say that I have enjoyed watching how bowl games and now a national championship have shaped college football in the last ten years. Yes, sometimes I yearn to have gone to a school such as Bama, where you can just see people breathing the spirit of it all, but I certainly did get a sense of that growing up with college hoops. And yes people, I know it is very different. So if one may ask, I would have to say I am taking my dad’s alma mater the University of Pittsburgh. I have been lucky to see a few of their games, as well as attend UCLA and USC football games. What I love the best is being in Los Angeles, and seeing the total fandom of both of these teams.
With that being said, my goal this year is to attend a couple more big games, and finally attend a bowl game. I will keep you posted, and until I really decide on a team, I will be the ultimate fan in fun pieces like this Tommy Hilfiger football jersey. I mean I might as well bring some fun fashion into this right? Check out Urban Outfitters for fun gear! Anyhow, whomever your college football team may be, good luck and see you all tailgating across the country!
I can’t believe that the NBA finals are here again already. Once again we have the Golden State Warriors going head to head with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Last year in a wild ending, the Cavs beat Golden State, so this year is going to be a crazy series. I am guessing that this will go all seven games. I have been so lucky over the years to sit at many playoff games, and even see my dad coach a team to a championship with the Dallas Mavericks in 2011. This was one of the best experiences of my life. There are no words to describe what it is like to cheer a team on to a championship.
Besides the cute tee, I am loving the Puma line right now. This long sleeve burn out hoodie available at Foot Locker is just oh so cool. I paired it with some simple shades, and my new favorite high-waisted sleek leggings from Onzie. What I love about this legging is you can literally also wear it with a sweater and some cool booties. They are totally universal.
I just picked up these new Nike sneakers, which are so comfortable it is crazy. They are inspired by a pocketknife, and are foldable and packable. They have an amazing stability strap with a translucent sole to provide greater flexibility on your foot and in your luggage. Also, don’t forget this great reversible tote that has a cool girl feel to it. It is available at Nordstrom and is under $50!
Cheers to the NBA Finals, cannot wait to watch the games!!!
That being said, I am just excited to watch some of the greatest players in the league this year, as there will be no shortage of amazing basketball. There are more players then ever before that were NBA all-stars playing, which will be fascinating to watch. I headed over the the NBA team store, to find a cute tee to wear around today, and this Jordan brand was perfect. As we know, I love me some Jordan shoes, and so it was kind of fun and fitting to pick up a cute tee. Not only can I wear it with work out gear, it is super cute paired with some jeans and heels. I even did a little knot tie when I went out.
