I cannot believe that Mother’s Day is just a week away, and whether your sports minded Mom is classic or on trend, Fanatics has you covered. I have long been a fan of giving something different and thoughtful on this day. When I first started thinking of my own Mom, who is classic and loves a good handbag, my first thought was to check out the Dooney and Bourke collection. I mean, who doesn’t love this line? Mix in your favorite team, and you are totally set.
I am a huge Steelers fan, just like my entire family, and this is the perfect bag for my Mom and Aunt.
Yep, and then there are those on trend Mom’s, like my sister and most of my best-friends. Right now I am loving layered necklaces, and what is not fun about mixing in your favorite team’s nameplate. I love this Lakers piece, as it is very on trend for Los Angeles, and simply mixed with a few others, it is fun and hip at the same time.
Make sure you head over to Fanatics for all of your favorite Mom’s out there, and year around, for all kinds of amazing gifts for everyone!
Wow, I cannot believe that the weekend came and went so fast! This year the NBA All-Star game took place here in the City of Angels, and it was incredible. I wish I could have been in numerous places at once, because literally there were events every way you turned. I started out the week with 47 Brand and Shoe Palace, one of my favorite stores on Melrose. Thursday, was jam packed from seeing the new line from Michell and Ness and Homage on Fairfax, to ending the night at Adidas.
Friday, before the rising stars challenge, I had the chance to speak at the NBA Lab x Crossover event, as well as kick It at the fun 747 adidas event. It felt like a music meets kicks festival, where new drops were happening as well as the amazing create and cultivate event. The night ended at a Jordan event where I got to see some custom kicks made! Saturday finally slowed down a bit, but before All-Star Saturday kickoff, I had the chance to interview the talented Kristen Ledlow. I cannot wait for you guys to see the fun footage. All-Star Saturday was full of fun fashion, and of course some amazing dunks. Sunday couldn’t have been more fun kicking off the game day with Mitchell and Ness and their brunch. By the time the game rolled around, my weekend could not have been more complete. Of course it was all about the fashion, and some of my favorite looks are below!
L to R Ben Simmons, Tristan Thompson, Rich Paul, John Wall, Lebron James

That being said, you can still order some fun and unique gifts for your favorite sports lover this week for Christmas. ALSO, if you are looking for something super special, tickets to any game are sure to please everyone out there!
What do you get for the sports lover out there? Whether it is a male or a female, I have listed some of my favorite sports gifts that will cover anyone on your list. From the fashionista to the tailgating king, there is something here for everyone. One of my favorite things is supporting up and coming lines. Rastaclat x NBALAB is celebrating the virtues of pride, righteousness, integrity, discovery, and excellence. Rastaclat honors the legacy of professional basketball with the launch of the Rastaclat X NBALAB COLLECTION. The NBA Lab is a research and development incubator aimed at innovative design, imaginative concepts and strategic partnerships. Both The Very Warm and Rastclat are able to partner with the NBA because of this amazing concept.
Well here I am with my favorite thing in hand, a basketball. For those of you that ask, I do play and love a good game of hoops or even horse. Right now I feel so lucky to be able to throw down with my dad still on the court. He has taught me a thing or two over the years, and I still watch him during practices as he continues to coach NBA players. That being said, I have grown up in arenas, and it almost feels like a second home. Getting dressed for a game is something I don’t ever think too much about, but many people ask me all the time, and this look is one of my go to outfits.
I love a cool bomber or leather jacket. The Very Warm makes some unbelievable ones, and right now they have just launched an insane collection with the NBA LAB x Barneys New York. It is cold in arenas, so a light jacket is a staple. I like to pair it with a fun tee that is a bit fun or sporty, like this star muscle tee from Sundry. It adds an element to the look. I live in comfy jeans, for me they are easy and on trend.
I don’t always wear team gear to the game. When I do, it is usually a cool vintage tee, jersey, or baseball cap with my teams logo. I am a huge Jordan fan, so I own several kicks and fun apparel. I love this simple black hat, it adds to the outfit and covers up my eyes on those days when I am tired. Also, you can see here, this jacket is reversible making it even more fun for a game.
I almost always wear sneakers to the game, and these throwback retro Nike’s are fun and girly at the same time. They were on my list for awhile, and they add a bit of color and fun to the whole look. Any type of throwback is fun right now, and very on trend. So cheers to a fun season of basketball and more of my favorite outfit ideas!
