I just came across the cutest new designer at Nordstrom by the name of Brunette the Label. They have the cutest tees and sweats that will make any girl skip around town. I found this Blonde sweatshirt that is perfect for the weather as it begins to change here in California. The mornings and evenings tend to drop and for the beach this is the perfect piece.
Not only that, but these cute Nike leggings are fun and totally on trend. I love a fun design on my running tights, and these have a great waistband that stays up during any activity. I also just got this cool Baby G watch for the fall. It is a cool shade of black, and will go with so many different looks. I like to wear it out at night too for a sporty edge.
I am a little obsessed with Quay Australia shades right now. They can be purchased at Nordstrom as well, and they are all around $60 dollars. I mean what a steal for such a cool pair! I love that these are a bit oversized, and they fit perfectly with this whole look.
Say hello to my new favorite kicks from Nike. How cool are these Cortez vibes? Irridescent sneakers are a huge trend for fall, so don’t be scared to try them out, and of course mix and match them with all of your looks.
It is that time of year again, when you are starting to feel a bit of fall in the air. The weather is warm, but the nights tend to get chilly. For me, I begin counting down the days until I can throw on my boots and sweaters again. One of my favorite combos at night is pairing a pretty blouse or sweater with a distressed pair of denim. It is perfect for the beach. One of my new favorite lines is at Nordstrom. J.O.A or Just One Answer had fun and affordable pieces. I have never met a star print I didn’t like, and this ruffle sleeve top is just perfect all year around.
When I leave the house at night, I love an adorable and affordable clutch. This one from the B.P. section at Nordstrom is only $25.00. I mean what a steal, and it goes with almost any look that I have.
If I am not wearing a sneaker or boot, I tend to go out in a fun pair of flats. This whole look just needed a small pop of color and what better way to do it then with this red pair from J.Crew.
This whole look is just so much more fun thanks to 7 Charming Sisters. They have created seven different lines of jewelry that cater to different tastes and occasions. No matter who you are, or where you are going, they have something fun and unique for everyone!
Since her launch of Karen Zambos in 1999, this designer has reinvented the allure of bohemian charm with new levels of ease and sophistication. She began experimenting in reconstruction by gathering vintage pieces and re-working them for a more contemporary look. I first came across her line at a small boutique in Los Angeles. Right away her line spoke to me with its modern yet California feel to it. The print of this beautiful maxi dress is spot on for fall. It almost has a waterfall effect of autumn colors.
When it comes to a long maxi dress, I like to play if up and make it a little more edgy with a fun accessory like this B-Lowthebelt. Their belts have a fun vintage vibe to them, and it cinches the dress in just enough to add a great waistline. During this time of year, I find that a neutral clutch like this grey one from Lulu’s goes with just about everything I wear. The small fringe detail gives it a little added punch.
One of my style tips, is that when you have a printed dress and a bolder accessory, go light with anything else. I simply added my favorite small Gorjana pendant to this look. It goes with everything and won’t distract or overpower the look.
Once again, my favorite Report boots are on rotation. These babies go with everything, and the block heel is on trend. The small metallic touch in them completes the whole look from head to toe.
This past Wednesday night, I was invited to an intimate dinner at my favorite boutique Hiptique. The store partnered up with One Nine Design to gather a group of entrepreneurial women in the industry for a night of mingling and talking business.
One Nine Design, founded by Stephanie Kimes, is an experiential design and production company. They curate experiences and bring ideas to life, and with this she has brought her own idea of the OND Social Series to life. It will be a monthly Los Angeles based event bringing women together to make contacts and gather cool ideas. Wednesday night did not disappoint, from the food to the DJ, and of course the shopping. All among 19 women who have created their own business.
On Tuesday, I offered the store my stylist experience, to dress the mannequins. I also did some fun personal shopping before the dinner with all of the women. Part of what I do for a living is personal shopping, and being able to offer advice to women in all sorts of business fields always makes me happy. Also using my creativity to do some fun window displays for fall was quite fun.
One of the best things about fall in California, is that the weather is just perfect for a fall weekend getaway up the coast. Every year we take a quick trip to Santa Barbara for a fun day of wine tasting and shopping.
I love a long maxi dress this time of year, and this one from A.L.C is just perfect. The cut out details are on trend, and the florals add a feminine touch.

When I travel, I always bring a fun hat, and my favorite line right now is KIN / K. Their felt hats are a mix of modern luxury with a touch of cool girl vibes.

The Funk Zone is our favorite place to go, as many wineries have tasting rooms in this one mile area. The day always begins with lunch and a coffee at The Lucky Penny. Their pizzas are amazing.
As the sun begins to set, we generally head back to my favorite hotel, The Fess Parker. It is close to downtown and easy to get around. Dinner is always the same. We love the new on trend spot The Lark, as it is trendy and cool.
When Sunday rolls around, we always take a quick trip to Montecito for shopping. One of my favorite stores in California is Jenni Kayne. After that it is time to hit the road down the coast of Malibu to stop for lunch at the Reel Inn to complete our trip.
