One of the best things about fall in California, is that the weather is just perfect for a fall weekend getaway up the coast. Every year we take a quick trip to Santa Barbara for a fun day of wine tasting and shopping.
I love a long maxi dress this time of year, and this one from A.L.C is just perfect. The cut out details are on trend, and the florals add a feminine touch.

When I travel, I always bring a fun hat, and my favorite line right now is KIN / K. Their felt hats are a mix of modern luxury with a touch of cool girl vibes.

The Funk Zone is our favorite place to go, as many wineries have tasting rooms in this one mile area. The day always begins with lunch and a coffee at The Lucky Penny. Their pizzas are amazing.
As the sun begins to set, we generally head back to my favorite hotel, The Fess Parker. It is close to downtown and easy to get around. Dinner is always the same. We love the new on trend spot The Lark, as it is trendy and cool.
When Sunday rolls around, we always take a quick trip to Montecito for shopping. One of my favorite stores in California is Jenni Kayne. After that it is time to hit the road down the coast of Malibu to stop for lunch at the Reel Inn to complete our trip.

This past year, while doing quite a bit of shopping at Hiptique, I came across Veronica beard. This label is an elevated American sportswear brand that strikes the balance between classic and cool. Not only are their essentials both effortless and chic, each piece is tailored with the highest level of quality and fit.
The dress above is going to be a staple for me this fall in Los Angeles. The colors are not only gorgeous, but it is so effortless that I can throw on a pump and run to a cocktail event, or wear it with some vintage booties and a leather jacket for a brunch.
The other staple from this label that I have purchased is The Jacket, otherwise know as “our bread and butter”. Launched in the Fall of 2010, with the signature Dickey, this piece is a must have.
Check out some more of my favorite pieces from their collection below. I just purchased two more Dickey’s for the season to put with my signature blazer.
One of my favorite things about New York City is that you can wine and dine in any neighborhood. I find a great restaurant on almost every corner, and I never get tired of exploring new places. I found a cute little wine bar down in Tribeca where I am staying for happy hour.
This Alice and Olivia romper is perfect for the hot city nights. It can transition from day with a simple sandal to a great piece for the night paired with a wedge like this from Dolce Vita . Of course, I threw on my favorite choker from Chan Luu.
There are many mornings that I have an early set time, and I always want to look pulled together yet comfortable. On the top of my list are long dresses paired with a great necklace and some simples slides. It is easy and I can literally get out the door in five. This dress from Deby Debo has simply been one of my go to pieces all summer. As summer comest to an end, I will switch out the sandals for my simple booties and add a jean jacket.
This past weekend I attended a black tie wedding in Martha’s Vineyard. While on the hunt for some new summer pieces, I found a fantastic dress by L’Agence from Shopbop.
Not only is it on trend with a great slit and cut-outs the luxurious feminine fabric made it just right for a swanky affair.
L’AGENCE launched in California in 2008 with a vision to make silhouettes that made a woman look and feel beautiful with an effortless and sophisticated point of view. Luxurious feminine fabrics, fit and quality are the foundation of the collection. L’AGENCE is based on elements of enduring and fine materials — including washed silks, Japanese and Italian fabrics that set out to create styles that remain in a woman’s wardrobe.
