Well, the weather is finally taking a turn, but there is still a little chill in the air. Spending the last twelve years in Cali, the evenings by the beach usually call for a light jacket. Here on the East Coast, we still are getting hits of cold weather, so it is the perfect time to purchase and break out those transition jackets.
One of my favorite new lines that I have found is Blank NYC Denim. They have such fun jackets at a price point that is amazing. Last fall, I purchased their burgundy moto jacket in suede, and right now, I am lusting after this faux leather piece with floral print. I also just ordered their baby pink suede moto jacket, as pastel colors are huge for this season.
For me, I love the mix of an edgy jacket like this, with the floral print. It adds a feminine touch in a bad girl way. If you haven’t noticed, I am also loving the trend of pairing a cool bandana in place of a choker with a lot of my looks. Their fun and easy, and Topshop has plenty to choose from. Grab cool pair of aviators, these from B.P. at Nordstrom are only $12.00! Complete the look with a fun tee. I can never pass up a graphic one that has something fun on it. Good vibes and tan lines is exactly what I need now that the sun is shining!

One of my favorite things about being in NYC is that you can walk everywhere. Each week, I love to seek out new neighborhoods and cute boutiques that I have been hearing about. Somehow this January, we have been pretty lucky that the weather has been mild, so a few weekends ago I took a trip to Soho to shop around. I came across this Rag and Bone dress at their store in Soho, and paired it with my Nike Air Jordan’s. It makes it more hip and fun. My leather jacket has been on rotation when the weather allows, and this was the perfect day for a lighter coat.

Of course no trip is complete without a trip to Nike Soho, as well as the Nike Lab. I always tend to buy something in each store, and this trip it was the new Paul George shoe that launched. Check out the article behind his first signature shoe here. A big trend this Spring in sneakers is iridescents. You are going to see a lot of this in different ways across the board, so keep your eye out.
My second trip of the day was to check out Japanese eyewear Gentle Monster. I had heard about this store from several people, and decided that it was time for a new pair of shades. They have a beautiful flagship store in Soho, and although they are a bit more on the expensive side, these babies rock. I like to invest in one cool pair a year, and this is definitely a designer to watch. A few of my Spring favorites are below.
It is the start of another holiday week. Although Christmas is over, it is still the season for celebrating with New Year’s Eve around the corner and a big move to New York City for a few months. Two of my favorite trends that will continue into the 2017 are all white sneakers and ripped jeans.
I just received these amazing Tubular Defiant Adidas for Christmas. Not only are they pretty cool looking, but they will be perfect for runs on the treadmill after the holidays.
I have been loving ripped jeans all year, and whether you go for a vintage looking pair or a cleaner look, they certainly should be on your radar. I love this pair from Nordstrom, the patches are fun and add just a little extra punch to the look.
What I love about this top from Pam and Gela is that you can take it straight into Valentine’s day. It is so fun and has that certain sexiness to it that makes me want to wear it all the time.
Thanks to Blank NYC Denim I am living in this moto jacket. I purchased the leather version, as well as the dark gray. Can we say that I may have a problem? It also won’t break your bank, which makes it that much more perfect.
