I am so excited to announce that I am going to be doing a podcast, and right now I am practicing both on and off camera. We chose to shoot outside the other day in this unbelievable jacket from Alice and Olivia. It is maybe the most fun leather jacket I have worn. I am all about a fun bomber this season, and you can find them anywhere for different price points. I felt that I would kick off my first podcast feeling pretty cool.
Behind the scenes I will usually be in a fun sneaker like my favorite adidas Gazelle’s. I love this black and white combo with the red pop of color too. I mean it is fun and loud. The one thing that you will see on all of the podcasts is player style. My passion is following what they are wearing and how they make choices. I obviously will be asking them about their favorite sneakers too!
Besides style, their lifestyle will also be showcased, so most of our shooting will be all over the place from homes, hotels, to their office. I cannot wait to dip into this new area. Also, I will be having on lots of sports and fashion designers that I can interview on style as well. It will be fun to get different perspectives from everyone.
For those that know me well, I practically live in maxi skirts and dresses all year long. Don’t get me wrong, I still wear my favorite heels, but usually I like to give it my own spin with a great pair of sneakers. This blue skirt from Alice and Olivia may be one of the best I have found in years. The color is gorgeous and the pleats are perfection.
I live in vintage rock tees all the time. In the winter, I love to pair them under a jacket, and pairing it with the unexpected makes if more fun. I came across Madeworn this past week. It is a brand started by the creator of Junk Food Clothing, Blaine Halvorson, who has taken vintage and music apparel to a luxury level.
Being in New York City, I have certainly fallen in love. One of my favorite denim lines The Rails had me marching to my own beat in this Knox jacket. I mean how cute is the New York logo on the back?
Even better, you can customize your own, which I just did with my name on the back. Check it out below.
Last but certainly not least, is the the adidas Gazelle. This shoe has been around since I can remember, and my first pair were back in the seventh grade. I had a pair of navy blue ones that I wore into the ground. They recently have had a revival, and right away I went out to get a basic pair of black that go with everything. One style tip, is to never be shy of mixing things up. A maxi skirt is more unique with a cool pair of sneakers and a vintage rock tee!
I have several weddings and cocktail events coming up in the next month. This time of year, I love to find dresses that are a bit different then what I typically wear. As we get closer to the holidays I tend to be more festive.
This dress is from The Stylist LA, a designer dress borrowing service. Founded in 2009, its aim is to bring stylish clothing to women who wish to dress a certain way, but do not want to buy a new outfit for every occasion. For some of my more formal weddings and events coming up, this is my go to for a great fall wedding look.

I have often tried on pieces from Nightcap Clothing, but this was my first adventure in one of their beautiful detailed dresses. The lace is done just right, and I love the color of the navy. It is sexy yet feminine. The wedding was outdoors, so I made it more funky by pairing a Seychelles boot with it.

I love the bright addition of my favorite Alice and Olivia clutch. It is the perfect size handbag for events, and it makes the look pop a bit more. Florals are so on trend for fall, and it adds a playfulness to the look.
One of my favorite things about New York City is that you can wine and dine in any neighborhood. I find a great restaurant on almost every corner, and I never get tired of exploring new places. I found a cute little wine bar down in Tribeca where I am staying for happy hour.
This Alice and Olivia romper is perfect for the hot city nights. It can transition from day with a simple sandal to a great piece for the night paired with a wedge like this from Dolce Vita . Of course, I threw on my favorite choker from Chan Luu.
