This 2016 Spring/Summer the belt is back in a huge and bold statement. 70’s inspired vintage bets are being seen from street style mavens on simple jean shorts, to fancy dresses for the evening. You can start simple or go bold with a fringe belt that can be worn over a pair of jeans and paired with a simple tank.

This past month one of my favorite jewelry designers opened a beautiful store front in Santa Monica. I have been a fan of Chan Luu for about ten years now, and as the line has grown the pieces become more special each year.
Chan Luu was born and raised in South Vietnam. She had a passion for designing at a very young age, recalling gathering seashells from along the shore and spending hours handcrafting one-of-a-kind pieces of jewelry for herself and friends.
Chan Luu is a Los Angeles based contemporary lifestyle brand offering handcrafted jewelry, scarf and apparel products. The designs combine cultural elements found worldwide with a modern California influence to create the signature style.

I have had the pleasure to work with this amazing site, and for many of us festival season is everywhere around us and certainly in full swing. As we get older, we still want to rock an amazing look, but finding something that doesn’t look too young can be a problem. Take it from me, the hunt is constant to look hip and cool, while remaining comfortable all day. Thankfully Lulus has me covered, and even better it is all super affordable. Check out my favorite festival digs below!

This Spring, get excited for all the fun footwear that’s about to come your way. Several new trends emerged on the runway, and whether you love color or prefer neutrals the sky is the limit. Set your sights on my must-have picks ahead and start sporting them now.
Let your shoe take the spotlight this Spring with a bold and bright pair that can’t go unnoticed. The great thing about color is you can make it the statement of a neutral outfit.
The pointed-toe may not be a new shoe silhouette, but there it has had a makeover.chic update. This Spring this style merges with metallics, laces, and Western influences, you’re sure to come across one to fit your unique style.
The Block Heel
The block heel is one of the newer shoe silhouettes to come around in awhile. Trade in your traditional stiletto for a thick chunky heel that’ll give you more ease with each step
The Lace Up
Whether you prefer a flat and neutral shoe, or a high wedge in color, make sure to buy a pair of lace up shoes. This small design detail was all over the Spring runways and it adds just the right amount of detail to take notice.
I have had the pleasure of working with the talented Trish Suhr for over five years. She is a TV host, comedian, and lifestyle expert, and we met during my time styling for Clean House. This past year she has been co-hosting the Fab Life and Hollywood Today Live.
One of the reasons that we love working together is that both of us are not afraid of color and having fun with wardrobe, and her clothing is always full of life like her personality.
Stripes and florals are big for Spring, and below she shows you how to take one simple tank and wear it two different ways.
