I have loved basketball and fashion for as long as I can remember, my father being both a college and NBA coach. As entertainment has evolved, while working for a premier sports agent, I began to notice the change in athletes and their love for fashion.
There is a boys club happening in the league, and their fashion is getting just as much press as their reverse dunks and blocked shots. There have been some trend forward choices and some sick looks that have made my jaw drop.
Not only have the players taken notice, but the NBA has as a whole. Last year, GQ published several articles revolving around these trendsetters, and the league put on its first All-Star fashion show in NYC.
Some of my favorite polished and street style looks are below. I can’t wait to see what is in store for the 2015-2016 season.

Kobe Bryant pre-game
Tyson Chandler and Charlie Villanueva sporting their version of street style
Russell Westbrook, one of the league’s major fashion forward players.
